Snowing during Spring @ Daejeon

We were totally unprepared for a snowy weather. But we were lucky to experience a morning of snow.

So snowy... I can't open my eyes.

"I don't know how to move my legs. They just sank in."

Hayool daddy built Hayool her very first snowman. :)

The weather is changing and the flowers are blooming.

A huge mess we made on the snow when we left the playground. We were the only ones having fun in this cold weather. 

Hahaha... the little Gabriella was afraid of the angry snowman... Of all expressions, Hayool Daddy made the snowman so cheeky looking. (haha... actually, Gabriella was upset that her feet were stuck in the snow.)

하하팜 Ha Ha Farm @ Daejeon

A visit to the strawberry farm. (☑️ to my wishlist). It is crowded with families spending the weekend here for a hands-on activity.

 The size of strawberries are in accordance to the number shown. The middle ones are the largest. Apparently, the farm has some special sweet strawberries which are typically only sold locally. Only the less sweet ones are exported. 

For $14, we are given a box to fill with strawberries which we could bring back. But we ate as we plucked. I think we ate double that of what we could fill in the box. Too sweet to resist.

Mashing the strawberries, added a large bowl of sugar and heated till thicken.

 Tada... here's the output. Based on the retail cost of the strawberries, this jar full of real strawberries could easily cost $15. 

 Having icecream while the 2 men went for a sauna. Brother bonding time.
